Is there connection between genital herpes and Mono?
I know that Mono is in the herpes family and is very contagious so you should avoid type of contact with other people, but it is possible after the Mono clarifies that you can transfer the genital herpes. I know you can transfer the HSV-1 (herpes oral) in the genital area causing genital herpes and was wondering if there was a connection or if the disease completely extinguished Mono.
You are wrong Mono is a virus of herpes. Mono is an Epstein-Barr virus. Mono does not become cold. You are right, however, that oral herpes can be transmitted to the genitals through oral sex.
